The Experience

Trading hills for pure speed and skill. Cornelia Fort offers a rare, wide-open asphalt surface that was once a functioning runway. It’s the ultimate "training ground" for young riders to practice drafting, cornering, and group communication without the worry of road traffic.

History on the Runway

This airpark is a piece of Nashville history. While we ride laps, you're rolling on the same asphalt where legendary musicians once landed. The surrounding Shelby Bottoms nature area provides a lush, green backdrop to our fast-paced Tuesday nights.

The Loop: We typically run the 1.2-mile runway loop, occasionally extending into the Shelby Bottoms Greenway for longer endurance miles.

Airstrip Safety

Runway Etiquette

Watch the Merge: Always look both ways when entering the runway loop from the trailhead.
The HUB Line: Practice "calling out" your moves—point to debris or obstacles to help the rider behind you.
Stay Predictable: Avoid sudden braking or swerving. On the runway, big movements can cause big problems.
Respect All Users: The airpark is popular with skaters and runners. Give them 2-3 bike lengths of space when passing.

The Experience

This scenic journey along the Little Harpeth River Greenway is one of the best car-free corridors in Brentwood. We pick up the paved trail from the playground, winding through shaded woods and open green spaces.

History & Landmarks

Keep your eyes peeled! We pass Primm Historic Park, the Boiling Spring Academy (1830s schoolhouse), and ancient Native American burial mounds. At Crockett Park, we'll loop past the historic Cool Springs House.

Lookout: You might just see (or hear) a monster truck being worked on nearby! It's a favorite local sight along the trail.
