Hub Loves Our Seniors! - SAMUEL “SAM” EWING

Hub Loves Our Seniors!

Saying goodbye to our graduating Hub riders isn’t easy. Their dedication, sportsmanship, and positive leadership have shaped who we are as a team. As mentors and role models, their impact will continue to resonate long after they’ve moved on to what’s next.

While we’ll miss them deeply, we’re also incredibly excited to see what lies ahead. As they take on new challenges and begin their next journey, we’ll be cheering them on—knowing they’ll carry the Hub pillars with them every step of the way.

Senior Spotlight: Sam Ewing

How long have you been riding?

I have been riding since I was four years old. Racing quickly became a big part of riding my bike, and HUB has given me so many opportunities to race and enjoy time on the bike in other ways.

How has Hub inspired you?

Hub has created an incredible community full of inspiring mentors and welcoming teammates, and it has helped me improve my social skills, compassion, and confidence. Doing races and service events surrounded by my closest friends means I know that I have people on my side pushing me to improve on and off the bike, and that community exists because of Hub.

How will you carry the Hub pillars (health/service/education) forward with you?

I want to create or participate in a similar community in college, where effort is encouraged and service is a central aspect. I’ve loved delivering burritos with UBFM on Monday nights because of the people I meet, and I want to make a difference like that in college.
