About HUB Education

At HUB Youth Cycling, education is more than academics — it’s about giving young people the tools to grow as confident, capable, and community-minded riders. Through school visits, mentoring, and hands-on experiences, HUB provides youth with knowledge that extends well beyond the bike.

What Education Means at HUB

  • Safe Riding Skills
We teach the fundamentals of bike safety, road awareness, and trail etiquette to ensure every rider can enjoy cycling with confidence.

  • Teamwork and Leadership
From small-group clinics to large-scale events, youth learn to collaborate, support one another, and take on leadership roles within their teams and communities.

  • Mentoring and School Programs
HUB brings cycling into schools and works with community partners to mentor students, blending health, service, and education in every visit.

  • Pathways to the Future
Our programs go further than the trail or classroom. Through alumni ambassadors, summer camps, and college workshops, HUB connects youth to opportunities like job shadowing, career coaching, and service leadership.

Why It Matters

By combining riding with education, HUB helps young people build skills that last a lifetime — resilience, problem solving, empathy, and leadership. Every mile on the bike is also a step toward becoming stronger, healthier, and more connected citizens.
